Dear Friends of UA+Ed,
The Upper Arlington Education Foundation has always been grounded in one goal: providing meaningful opportunities for each and every student in the Upper Arlington Schools. Today, we’re thrilled to share exciting changes in how we invite you to support that mission.
After 18 years of celebrating at our Labor Day weekend Golden Bear BASH! FUNdraiser, we are evolving toward something even more impactful: a year-round giving model that allows more people to participate in more ways.
Why We’re Making This Change:
-
You spoke. We listened. Through recent donor feedback, we learned that our community is deeply committed to our mission—whether or not it’s tied to a traditional one-time event.
-
We want to create a more accessible and individualized path for giving, one that meets people where they are.
-
We’re shifting from single-event sponsorships to multiple giving opportunities, mission-focused events, and fresh ways to unite our UA+Ed community of supporters.
This change honors our past, celebrates our present, and builds momentum for the future of each and every student in our schools.
We’re grateful for your generosity, your spirit, and your belief in what's possible through public education. We hope you’ll continue to walk with us—and help us write the next chapter for UA+Ed.
Join our Circles of Impact Campaign and make an impact today, every day, tomorrow, and forever.
Warm regards,
Alice Finley, Executive Director
Anne Houser, Board Chair
